New Nuevo Barstools

April 18, 2013

Barstools are one of those items that have so many different uses that it makes finding just the right one difficult! Is it for a bar where you sit a long time and need comfort, or is it a place to "perch" for a moment while you talk to the person in the kitchen? Backless to fit underneath, or high-back for support? Nuevo has come out with a few new options which help us meet so many different requirements.  Modern industrial is certainly making a push for many of our companies, and it is well represented here. Loving the Eames replica molded plastic as well- comfortable and reassuringly iconic!

One of our favorite chairs- and one we own ourselves- is getting a new price! The Baloo chair by Fjords has a rocker pivot in the base for gentle motion and is a very comfortable reference to the classic Arne Jacobsen Egg Chair. Chair and ottoman used to be in the $3600 range in leather- now we have great fabric options close to $2000. Love it when favorites get MORE affordable!
