For the bike lovers out there- and we have plenty here in Bend- the Chain Torso Sculpture by Phillips Collection takes the cast offs from your passion and turns it into art! Made completely out of bike chains, it is the height of repurposing what is otherwise just thrown away. While at Market we ran into quite a few repurposed bike part items, including these tables and chairs. 

Graf & Lantz bags and accessories is one of our unexpected finds at Market, and while furnish. may not be the most obvious choice for gorgeous bags and accessories, we love wonderful design in any form! Made of the best merino wool felt and other luxury materials, these bags are sure to "wow". Daniel Lantz himself was there to welcome us into the Graf & Lantz fold!

One of our favorite chairs- and one we own ourselves- is getting a new price! The Baloo chair by Fjords has a rocker pivot in the base for gentle motion and is a very comfortable reference to the classic Arne Jacobsen Egg Chair. Chair and ottoman used to be in the $3600 range in leather- now we have great fabric options close to $2000. Love it when favorites get MORE affordable!

 We have been a fan of 3D wall panels for years, and may have even blogged in the past about Inhabits Wall Flats.  Currently we are very enamored by Wall Dimensions 3D Panels which can change the feel of a room in a proverbial minute!  Sturdier and easier to install than its cousins at Inhabit, Wall Dimension panels add texture and visual interest to otherwise boring walls. We love the applied adhesive which makes install a breeze, as we struggled through using tile mastic with the Inhabit versions.

Our Brilliant Multi Leather Rug from Linie just arrived, and what a great way to add color and texture to a space! The variation within it is fascinating and fun, and Noelle has already mentioned how good it would look in our living room....

The Miss Less Chair, designed by Phillipe Starck and produced by Kartell feels like it belongs in an art museum- or anywhere I can fit it in my house!  We just put it here on the floor at furnish. and we are shocked at just how comfortable it is. The "give" in the molded plastic back allows for a level of movement which you would never guess by looking at what appears to be a rigid piece of art! Our first customers of the day noticed it right away and mentioned they thought it was a display piece rather than an actual chair.  Miss Less if definitely out of the norm, and I'm a little bit in love....

The Masters Chairs by Kartell, designed by Philippe Starck, is an homage to three of the all time great chair designs- and somehow we at furnish. never knew it! The Masters has been a favorite for years for its beautiful lines and shocking comfort for an armchair that is also stackable and outside-able.  Little did we know, the lines of these chairs is a combination of the inimitable "Eiffel Chair" by Charles Eames, the "Tulip Armchair" by Eero Saarinen, and the "Series 7" by Arne Jacobsen.  Truly a chair designed by the masters of modern design- now we like it even more! Loll is the ultimate "hose it off and relax" outdoor furniture, and withstands pretty much anything Mother Nature throws at it. As such- and due to awesome designs- we are huge fans!  We are in the midst of their annual sale, so a great time to check it out.  Let us know if we can help!

 The Knox Daybed may be one of my favorite additions to the American leather line, at least in non sofa terms, in quite awhile! Part of their new Walnut Collection, the Knox is simplicity personified, letting the walnut, stainless steel, and upholstery speak for itself. Whether used as a daybed or a bench, the Knox is a "museum quality" piece that could find a home just about anywhere!

The epitome of modern design is something that fulfills all your needs and makes you think "why didn't I think of that". Well, here comes the Coolest, a cooler that finally modernizes the cooler world.  Complete with waterproof speaker, a blender(!) built in to the top, usb plugs, led lights, plates and cutting board built in, tie downs for transport, and more! Not sure how I can purchase something that hasn't even been made yet and still be late to the party, but The Coolest has already generated over $8 Million on Kickstarter- up slightly from the $50,000 he hoped to get to fund the first production!

Loll makes beautiful, bright, modern outdoor furniture and accessories- and even better, they are incredibly environmentally friendly!  This chaise lounge? 480 recycled milk jugs! Thats right, you can feel good about doing your part to save the planet while blissfully basking in the sun.  Great modern design that is going to stand up to the test of time in harsh outdoor environments can be very hard to find, so we at furnish. are very excited to be selling Loll.  Gotta love gorgeous with a conscience- Just like Noelle!
